Rekindling the Spirit
July 13-19, 2008
Bear Island, Lake Temagami, Ontario, Canada

This seven-day workshop is for those who feel their lives are frequently filled with the daily patterns of frenzy and a loss of deeper spirit—what Rilke calls "this steeply sloping hour." Too often we find ourselves running fast—sometimes loving it, but running nonetheless—and at a certain level we forget to breathe. Not the in-out, in-out unconscious repetition that simply fuels the engine, but the long, full, slow breaths that sustain and remind us of a deeper reason why. There are precious few places where we can get so powerful a reminder. If we don't intentionally take the time and make the effort, then our lives keep moving, and it doesn't happen. Learn more.
